Appreciative work environment and quite supportive management. Company policies are transpatent and well explained. HR and BU leaders are approachable. One like myself could easily spend a long time here. Though now the hikes are not that much good as it was in the past, there are great learning and technical development opportunities.

Dislikes

Like every other companies, one could have few negatives to disclose about Altran, like dropping hikes and increasing risk on job security.

Great place to start your career in Networking/ IT. A place to learn a lot of new technologies if you're willing.

Dislikes

Poor management, petty politics. Call center managers managing networking engineers never going to work. Moving to different teams to gain knowledge is difficult. There is not much salary hikes given.

The job security in Aricent is stable and probably because of this security i found the the people working there since long time are misusing this leverage to create a negative work environment for others.

Dislikes

The senior people in the dept have created such a monopolistic environment that any they don’t allow any junior to feel comfortable and always take credit of their work and leading to demotivation and dis-satisfaction among juniors and new comers. I always suggested a 365 degree feedback mechanism to higher management to improve work culture as few people have hijacked the team structure.

Policies are fkexible somewhat when comparing time of work. But bench policy is lacking and project volatility is there. Collegues are plesent and helpful, delivery pressure is moderate

Lacks planning, traing team coersively, look before you leap into the project you are being hired for as they sometimes lie that a project is about to take off but whereas the SoW hasnt been signed yet, lacks innovation, confusion in clarity in decisions
