Nothing was good here. Senior management is greedy for everything that comes. They want everything from appraisal to onsite visits for themselves. Birlasoft has a concept of dry promotions. They would be very miserable in giving appraisal. Most of company has testers and support engineers and very minimal of software development happens here

During my tenure at Birlasoft, as my project was good so, I had very good work life balance. I feel it mostly it depends on your manager. After certain level you have the variable income as well. Your manager can put you for VISA nominations after your certain tenure completion.

Increments. Promotions can be taken up after certain tenure only. No performance based bonus apart from the CTC..

Project Manager and higher management specially testing are very rude and environment is not suitable if you have not. God father in company as well as there is no big project ,Now a days only show-off is going on. I will recommend to all don't join this company.

All is good until you are in project, most of the team is in other locations and good package

Dislikes

No organization updates or team outings or team lunch. Don't expect any such activities. Once you are not in project, everything is out of reach and no one is bothered to check with you.

Chaotic work environment. Every task comes in as an urgent request. Expected to slog to meet them. No respect from business teams. Payscale and hikes are below market as company is struggling to meet revenue targets. Part of VPI has been held back. Coursera available for learning, however no time available to take any courses. They release the offer letter very early.

Dislikes

As early as they release the offer letter, same way they release the employee too. No job security. Clients they work with are not professional and do micromanage. Once you are on bench, HR will call you and tell you to submit resignation right in front of her.

You will get descent benefits and salary when you have hired.timing are flexible but also depends upon the project which you are going to work.

Work life balance is all depends upon the project but some project having very bad work life balance. Appraisals are worst either you are doing best or you are exceptionally good .

I personally feel when you choose to work with MNC it should follow all the compliance and standard practice but for BSL no MNC IT culture is followed
