(1) Technical team/team-members who does the actual work are knowledgeable, helpful and supportive
(2) Education team that provides soft skills are very helpful to grow and learn as an working IT Professional because apart from soft skills there is nothing much to learn here in technical domain.
Dislikes
(1) Higher Management is highly Toxic, Micromanagement is on another level. No matter how many hours or how many work you get done, You will always be criticized and shamed in front of everyone.
(2) Management always Interferes with the technical team working, every individual will take 10's of status call rather than all coming to a common timing for a meeting. Due to this half your shift you will be explaining people what have you done instead of doing something.
(3) No work life balance, they want employees to devote extra working hours outside of 9 Working Hours without any shift allowance, and if you refuse to do so. You are not a dedicated professional and this will be reflected in your upcoming mails, their attitude towards you and your appraisal cycle.
(4) Most of the useless meetings will be scheduled at your log-off timing so that they can check how many employees stay till last working minute and if failed to attend those, you will face consequences in the next day meeting.
(5) Very small team of "Technical & Working Members" who actually run the project and deliver it, and N number of managers sitting above them to monitor them each and every minute, each and every mail. If felt like Big Boss House more than a working environment.
(6) This was not the case few years ago, but nowadays Rather than having trust on employees to work they are trying to squeeze employee's last breath till they are fruitful to the company and later disposing them off Like a use and throw dot pen.
(7) You will be interviewed for a particular Job-Profile but if Organization want and there is a requirement they will put you in a different project outside your domain immediately after joining without giving you any choice to say Yes Or No.
(8) Team building exercise, Team communication is just on papers. You will not be given time to even have a proper communication apart from work.
(9) To much politics at all levels, Many desired individuals who were intelligent, capable and proven resigned due the same reason and incompetent people takes their places and make environment worse with every decision and every possible way.
(10) Leaves are to be pre planned for the whole year at the start of the year and even If there is an emergency you need to inform the Infinite Managers sitting above you individually and after all their approvals you can have a leave. Emergency leave should not be taken many times, According to them : "An emergency can only occur once in a month". And here we are talking about paid leaves which each and every employee is entitled to. But in this Reputed Organization you need to convince them about the problem you are having requires a leave which should never be a case.
THAT'S WHY THEY ARE CALLED PAID LEAVES!!...Read More
