They have very high salaries and low expectations. The recruitment process is extremely simple - one technical interview and 1h. There is very little bureaucracy. The bench is paid. There is access to Pluralsight. Avenga works for its clients, so you can always change the client and the project.

Skill development - Good

Dislikes

The recruitment process is too simple. They hire unskilled developers or with poor soft skills (there is no behavioral stage within recruitment) - you might not want to work with such people directly. There is little transparency/visibility and no internal systems. E.g., I don't know what is the processes to get promoted or a highersalary. You message everyone via email or chat. I don't feel connected to the company. I am on a bench right now and get very few job offers, usually not interesting or legacy projects. I am not sure how long it will take and if the company won't fire me ultimately....Read More

Job Market Seems to Be Opening Up Again!

I've been getting more interview calls recently, and after months of silence., it’s a relief! Things are looking better out there. Keep building your skills and applying, guys. Patience does pay off! For context: I have about 5 years of experience in the IT field, currently working as a security analyst (contract role) for the past 6 months.
