The promotion cycle as well as compensation was little off for the batch joined in 2017 as there were new rules which impacted us. The new rules made it difficult to climb up the ladder faster as well as paid less. Currently in 2022, they have done away with the policy for new entrants, hopefully this will help people scale up faster based on the amount of work they put in.

Promotion gets affected due to Favouritism and politics , Some Managers just do people's management and take undue advantage of resources under them, In certain projects New joiner BAs get QA role in projects

It offers vast choices or paths in the career prospects. Also the chance to work for leading product based companies adds additional benefits

Not much to dislike though at the moment for me

It's good at times but depends upon the kind of critical tasks you are into. At times, we might need to stretch beyond working hours depending upon the requirements

Dislikes

Accenture is a world wide company, there should not be any dislike. But the kind of projects Accenture takes is terrible. There are so many support projects and very less development or build projects. For freshers it is a good platform to learn a lot of good stuff to skill up but for experience support projects are hell. So my onlyadvice is to be very careful before going into project. Very hectic. first of all Unstable project, 24/7 support, No holidays, 10 hrs shift, Clients are not trained, No learning(Same work everyday), Secure bay no mobiles, felt like more of BPO, waste process, Weekend emergency calls
