Alternate documents for Employee verification?
My new employer asked for my previous offer letters and salary slips. When I inquired, they said it was for background verification.
However, I feel that providing these documents might affect salary negotiations, and it feels a bit unethical too.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I passed all the rounds of Interview and got the formal offer on company letter head. Ans even gave my confirmation on joining date. Then HR stopped responding calls or msg there was comple radio silence from their side. I had to call the reception and send a msg to the HR to understand the further process. Then I got a call from HR telling me that the position is on hold due to some sudden structural changes(a lame excuse). Basically its a Lala Firm and they prefer the one with strong reference.
Highly unprofessional so dont trust them even if you het a formal offer.
