Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Quick Interview Tips by Navneet Gupta:

After introduction, below are major questions which one should follow in their own language while asked in Interview:

"Why do you want to work at our company?"
Sir – It’s a great privilege for anyone to work in a reputed company. With my vast experiences I’ve found that my skills are matching requirements of any organization where I can showcase my managerial skills to contribute to the company’s growth, so getting an opportunity in your company would definitely give value additional in my overall experience and for the benefits of organization.

"How do you feel about working nights and weekends?"
Sir – Since I’ve never worked under such schedule so honestly I really do not have any experience of such schedules but this would be an excellent opportunity for me to add this in my overall exposure. If there is any need of organization to work in night or weekend then I’d be pleased to work

"How long would you expect to work for us if hired?"
I would like to remain employed here as long as my services are needed. I like new challenges and a chance to grow. As long I keep getting these, I don't think I'll be required to switch over.

"Give me an example of your creativity."
In my opinion, creativity is not about doing different things but it is about doing things differently

"What makes you angry?"
It makes me angry when people judge me before knowing who I am

"Explain how would be an asset to this organization?"
Sir it is my belief that every sector needs constant innovation. That's where I come into picture. I have the capability to think out of the box, determination to do the impossible. Attitude to face difficulties and the most important, I’m rational enough to accepts my limits.

"Why you want to change from your previous job?"
First of all I would like to thank my current organization, where I learned a lot like management, working under pressure, team work & knowledge.
Since I’m working at a smaller Location so I’m finding the saturation level of my overall experience in Banking. As I’m a person who believe in constant growth so to grow myself I am ready to accept the new challenges at new location and profile.

"Why have you had so many jobs?"
I don't see them as many jobs. I see them as many steps that I have climbed up and standing potentially capable in front of you with all those stepping experiences

"What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?"
Confidence has no limits for achievements.
Over confidence limits a person’s ability from achieving something new.

"What changes would you make if you came on board?"
Sir there are so many experienced persons on board and I’m sure they know something better than me. So I would not change anything but I would add something additional to ongoing projects and environment with my overall experience and skills

"What would you say to your boss if he is crazy about an idea, but you think it stinks?"
In my view, "Boss is always right". If he takes a decision with his vast experience, then I will support him, but if he asks me about my point-of-view on his decision then I will honestly tell him about my view so that he could take a better decision.

"Tell me honestly about the strong points and weak points of your boss (company, management team, etc.)"
There are many strong points in my boss and it's difficult to choose a few, But the most things which I have observed or learnt from him is that he is an excellent motivator, too energetic, be punctual, open minded and smart hard worker.
Coming to his weak points as a human being everyone has some weak points But I think I'm not the right person to judge him, though I have been never ever noticed his negative sides.

"Why should I hire you from the outside when I could promote someone from within?"
Yes, you can promote your employee but every company needs a new fruit to come up with the new ideas, knowledge which can improve company's status and helps in increase the overall position of the organization.

"Do you have any questions for me?"
Thank you for giving this nice opportunity. I would like to know about the growth mechanism of organization and also when can I join?
