All this buzz about Infosys laying off Freshers/Management Trainees. But did you actually know why this happened? Afterall, if the company did not want to keep them as employees, why would they hire them in the very first place? Allegedly, as per Infosys, the freshers were incompetent and not able to clear an assignment thrice. Well fair point, no company would want an incompetent employee on their pay roll. But but but, how the hell did company hire 400+ such incompetent people in the very first place? Were the HRs or hiring managers involved so blind to not see that the pool they are hiring is incompetent? Doesn't this whole scenario tells a lot about their hiring failures rather than incompetency of those freshers? #Infosys #Layoffs

Saw a post the other day that said, "My morality leaving my body after seeing a ₹2 crore package from a big defense contractor." Got me thinking... Let’s say someone approaches you with a project maybe a surveillance tool that tracks people without consent or a shady payday loan app designed to trap users in debt. You know it’s ethically questionable, but the pay is massive more than what you make in six months, for just a few weeks of work. If you say no, someone else will take the job anyway. The only real difference? You’d be walking away from the money. What would you do? Take the cash and move on? Or stick to your principles and pass?

I’ve spent years working on-site long hours, tough conditions, but always on the move. Then came the "big opportunity" a desk job in the office, handling paperwork and estimates. It felt like the next step, so I gave it a shot. At first, it was fine. But slowly, I felt different. Not the usual end of the day tired, but sluggish, drained. Staring at a screen all day, sitting in the same chair it just wasn’t for me. So, I made the call. I quit and went back to working on-site. Now? I feel like myself again. Hello all, I have 2 years of experience and it's for both voice and non voice process. I recently left a company where my package was 4.5lpa And joined ADP where my package is 5.8lpa. First thing first, I was hired on a contract basis for 6 months. Then there is no food facility, the cab takes more than an hour to arrive and we just wait for it, at times my shift ends at 2:30am and I will be still in the office waiting for the cab till 5:30am in the morning. After completing one month now they are saying that whatever leaves I took in the first month the amount for it will be deducted from my upcoming salary which is more than 12k, they did not inform us prior to that, that we are supposed to take only one leave in a month and that rest will be unpaid leaves. There is no sick leave, since I am in contact there is no insurance. I want to change company, but I am getting the maximum package as 4.8-5lpa. I want to ask what you guys do in such a situation? Please share your thoughts.

No Support and Negetive Behavior by manager.

Whatever good I do it goes wasted and always being criticized on missed things, even If I get over burdened by work ,I extend the shift and do the work. But on the other hand I do not get even a one percent support from manager. He always in a mode of documentation, will issue warning letter to you. Will take action against you. Even after giving more then 100% ,when I get this kind of response, it feels very frustrating and demotivating, do others also face this kind of situation, pls share your suggestions.

The story begins when I was a Team Leader at Concentrix Corporation. Out of the blue, my EX called, asking for help with a job. I assisted her, and she joined another business unit. Always Secure a Contract! Learned It the Hard Way

So, my boss hired me as a freelancer to develop a website for another company she was starting. Stupid me thought, "It’s fine, no contract, no advance... she won’t screw me over, right?" WRONG. I delivered the website on time, fully functional. It’s been four months, and all I’ve heard is “Waiting for partner approval.” Approval for what?? Now she’s decided not to go ahead with the company and says since I did “half the work,” she’ll only pay me half. I pushed back, but now she’s getting hostile. Bonus twist: she’s still my boss at my full-time job, so I’m in a bit of a spot. LOL Moral of the story? Don’t trust blindly! Always get a contract, ask for an advance, and remember, wealth doesn’t always equal integrity. Mujhe laga “Yeh itni ameer hai, mera 20k kha hi jayega” turns out, dil se gareeb ho toh kuch nahi kar sakte. Learn from my mistake, guys. Protect yourself first!

Dealing with Workplace Harassment

Yesterday, a colleague said something inappropriate to me, I ignored it for a while but i guess he just took it as a signal that i wont say anything and kept creeping me out and it left me shaken. Instead of brushing it off, I spoke up to my manager and the issue got escalated to the HR. It wasn’t easy I was nervous about the fallout but I knew ignoring it wasn’t the answer. So, Today, in the HR meeting, he tried to downplay it, saying, “I treat everyone like family.” I calmly told him, “You’re not my family, you’re my colleague. Act professionally. He started to cry and got emotional. But no matter what I have decided to take the matter with management and my HR and ma'am is very much supportive towards it and literally gave me a hug🥺
