Imagine this:
- 20% more pay but a nightmare boss😈
- 20% less pay but an absolute rockstar manager
Which one would you choose?

Tough choice, but I’d go with the higher pay. Let’s be real, the money helps a lot in the long run, and I can always learn to manage a difficult boss.

Bhai, 20% zyada pay lene ka matlab hamesha accha nahi hota. Agar boss hi badmash ho, toh kaam ka maza hi chala jaata hai.

I’d pick the higher pay and tough it out with the boss. In the end, it’s all about financial security.

The rockstar manager will evolve into nightmare boss if pay is 20% higher. The only reason he is holding back is to retain you

I would choose the less pay because in long run if your manager is good you will get good increment depending on your performance and not on favourism.

Job Offer Dilemma
I’m in a situation and need some guidance.I have a job offer with:CTC: 9.4 LPA fixed + 21% variable = 11.4 LPA total.Location: Chennai (not ideal for me).Another opportunity is in the pipeline, with a more suitable location, but the expected CTC is around 9.4 LPA, which is significantly lower than the first offer. To add to the dilemma, the HR of the second company feels that asking for 12 LPA (considering my 9.4 LPA fixed offer) is too high. How would you approach this decision?
