Head of HR, seen it all - Monday #AskMeAnything
I have worked in the HR field for both large corporates and medium sized businesses. Based in India but have worked in Hong Kong and New Zealand also. Have interviewed more people than I can ever remember, from the most junior entry level positions right up to Managers. Have dealt with every imaginable type of dispute. Happy to answer any questions or provide advice on job searching.

How common is it that lunch theft escalates to something that you gotta deal with? Also has anyone having their lunch stolen made the thief sick with the thief threatening to legal action? If that's something you had to deal with, what was your solution?

Is it true that HR stays completely impartial case of any dispute raised to them between management and an employee? One of the cases that I saw at my previous organisation was that the employee had to fight for his own leave, but at the end of the day management did what they normally do and left him hanging. HR too was unsupportive in the case.
