The only thing I like about the company is the shift timings which is fi

Dislikes

The shift timings are 9 am to 6 pm. But I have to work till 8 pm and even sometimes till 11 pm. And I don't even get an overtime pay. There is a lot of politics. They are not letting me to work from home.

Work Details

The work life balance is horrible. The team is a bit helpful. The salary is too low. There is politics. The working hours are only 9 hours on paper. But they make us work even more than 12 hours. For overtime they don't pay. They only pay for extra days.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
