I met a lot of good people. My seniors were great and provided me with adequate amounts of knowledge and hands-on in order for me to give my best.

Dislikes

The salary was already pathetic to start with. To add on that the appraisal provided and the growth path in Wipro is bad for a fresher.

In learning perspective everything is OK. You can improve your knowledge but you won't get project in based on your skills. 80-90% of the projects are support projects. If you are going to join in WIPRO just be ready for that.

Its like normal company if you join as a employee. But if you selected for WILP(wase, wims or vista). Then don't choose WIPRO go to some other company. They are started to giving 75k bonus for freshers, But freshers dont know that they are going to do internship for 5year with stipend of 15k for first year and 23k for last year. Every year 2k will be you increment. Then no PF, no experience certificate because you are student in wipro for 5 years. If you need MTech degree only or you are going to stay in wipro for long time, then you can choose wipro. Otherwise you are wasting 5years in your career. And one more thing they will change ur projects in different different skills in that 5yrs based on requirements, so you wont get proper experience in anything. I was trained in Advanced Java, Maven, JavaScript, Node-JS and Python. But they put me in some tool based project which don't have any of the above skills. So i wasted 4-5 months in useless training.

Its been a roller coaster ride in wipro. There were no project allocations in the start and fortunately I've got selected in project quantum where ive enjoyed everyday of my work.happy to play an important role in the project.

Been working here for almost a year now. Work isn't a lot if you're not in a project. Training is provided while not in project, the training sessions are pretty well done in my opinion.

But the chances of getting into a related project as a fresher is low. I feel like the opportunity for growth is low, but the period when you're not working is very free.

Nothing like disliking, I think Wipro can upgrade the hike policy .
