PWD GOV'T OF WEST BENGAL IS RESPONSIBLE ALL MAJORE GOV'T CONSTRUCTION WORK. PWD ALSO DOES ALL MAJORE MAINTENANCE WORK OF GOV'T BUILDINGS AND OTHER PROPERTIES. SO THROUGH OUT MY SERVICE LIFE I HAVE LEARNT ALL MAJORE EXECUTION WORK, BILL OF QUANTITIES.,EXECUTION OF MAJORE ROAD WORKS ETC.

Dislikes

MOSTLY I DISLIKED SLOW FUND SANCTION FROM END OF GOVERNMENT.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
