There are very minimal benefits and only limited to those who favors the incompetent managers who are there in the system for long.. For others , Its a toxic work environment. If you are a good performer in the current organization, you may feel excluded once you join UST due to its internal politics.
1. Ineffective Leadership - Many managers lack the quality of inspiring the team and to lead towards the employees growth. 2. Favoritism and Biased Policies - You can very well observe a bunch of guys in their 50s roaming around with no industry specific skills , yet they are favored by the organization due to the politics play. 3. Weak HR function - Ideally, HR should be the focal point for anything concerning to the employees. Unfortunately, here it's just for the namesake and doesn't come to picture at all. As I understand , they take freshers for a minimum salary to manage the HR function for a department. 4. Stagnant pay and very limited Growth - Employees face no salary hikes or any growth. This feels like an exclusion for the performing individuals as employees. 5. Favoritism in Career Advancement - Key assignments are often influenced by politics and when the credit comes in, this will be handed over to these incapable managers. UST should concentrate on appreciating employees based on performance not based on biases. UST should make HR , an employee centric with a clear and fair grievance resolution mechanisms. I am not sure by writing this review will change the organization culture. But , the only intention being to alert the prospective individuals while selecting UST as the next employer. It's a Big NO ! , unless are decided to jump into an organization with toxic culture and no governance. Thank you....Read More

Worst management i had ever seen. CONSTANT pressure by the account management team to get resources for them. Will humiliate you indirectly that you are not adding worth to the company.
Don't join this company at an architect level. The only way to survive is to constantly promote . They will force you to lie candidate about the projects ,no requirements from the client still waste candidate time and our time,then will not release the offer letter once the candidate is selected. And no job security here , they can remove anytime. STAY AWAY from this organisation.

1. No appraisals. 2. No qualified employees. 3. No feedback discussions, managers have no clue about promotions, appraisals, variable pay, increments, etc. 4. HRs don't even bother connecting with the employees. No discussions about the motivation, what the employees need. For 6 months they don't even know who are the employees they are tagged to. 5. No company formal structure. Feedbacks shared with the management goes into bin. They do what they feel like doing. 6. No food arrangements, no proper offices, no meeting rooms, no snacks, no coffee/tea, no gym, no breakout games etc. 7. The moment you enter the office, you feel like you are in a graveyard, where there is total silence. Lack of meeting rooms, forces people to take calls from their bay disturbing everyone around them. 8. Everything blocked on your laptops. At times even client websites are blocked. 9. The management is really approachable and supportive. Client project are taken only after ensuring that we do have the skill and resource. Any new resource within UST will be onboarded to project only after doing internal interviews and ensuring resource will be capable to take up the work. Management is really approachable and open if we want to change technology or role.
Work life balance was not there in my account, but almost every other account had work life balance. So depends on the project that you are getting onboarded.

If you are looking for a job security, this is not the place for you. Once a project is over employee are asked to resign without any prior notice, regardless of their skills or dedication. During the joining they will promise you for like every but at the end nothing matches. HR and the management offer no support, their role seems limited to hiring and firing without considering employees long term growth. -There are worst people who suck the soul out of you, promotes "modern day slavery" as "professionalism" and forces everyone to change the mindset as "work is life". These kind of people are the one who ruins the Indian IT sector, unfortunately I was part of such a team. -Poor work management, no proper tracking of work record and lack of employees in the team which will result in working overtime till late night ,work during weekends and cannot put a sick leave when its urgent which will burnout the soul and even calls you on phone during off hours and off days expecting 24x7 availability in front of office laptop. -It all depends on the luck on which team you lands on.
