Job Title: Technical Manager Product Engineering
Location: Pune, India
Experience: 12+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for a strong Technical Manager with extensive experience in Product Engineering & Product Development. This role requires a hands-on technology leader who can engage directly with CTOs, VPs, and Directors of Engineering from customer organizations, driving innovation and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage product engineering initiatives, ensuring high-quality software development and delivery.
• Work closely with customer leadership (CTO/VP/Director Engineering) to understand business needs and provide technology-driven solutions.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, ensuring the adoption of best practices and modern engineering approaches.
• Define and implement technical strategies, architecture, and roadmaps for scalable and high-performing products.
• Guide and mentor teams in design, development, and deployment of complex software systems.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence with strong coding standards, system design principles, and automation practices.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong technical competency in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable systems.
• Proven experience in Product Engineering / Product Development across multiple domains.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more backend technologies (Java, Python, Node.js, .NET) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience working in startup environments or high-growth product companies.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT, or other emerging technologies.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack development and mobile applications.
• Certifications in cloud, DevOps, or agile methodologies.
