Compensation was the only thing that was better. Since it is a startup you get to learn a lot about leadership and your tech skills. And that's about it.

Dislikes

No work life balance. You will work for 14-16 hours a day. Even in weekends. They don't have much resource and you are forced to work on multiple projects. Internal favouritism and politics. If they can't afford you or found a cheaper replacement, they will indirectly torture you which will push you to resign or they will fire youdoing drama. You won't be allowed to take leave even if it is very important. You will be forced to work. Very toxic work culture. Depends on your role and project.
