HR policies needs to be really looked at. A lot of policies are vague. Also there is no policy/ procedure/ understanding for contractual employees. They r treated like servants in terms of work, but they tend to b one of the hardest working people of the dept. Neither they r given any promotion, conversion or good hike. Also there is a lot of favouritism game in the management.

Work policy: Complete WFH for operations staff. For people working in project or client office are required to work from office based on preferences shared by the project. However it is still not 100% mandatory

1. The company culture has become poor in the last couple of year. The leaders are like managers, there is no lead by example. 2. There has been no salary hikes for 2 years and marginal hike in the recent cyle. 3. There is emphasis on learning and development, but organization does not want to make any investment in that regard. 4. There is a concept of feedback, but only top down. Currently due to restructuring there is some flux around, attrition and transition phase has caused a bit of negative mindset among existing and past employees - Need more aggressive approach to change this mindset and bring the old Thoughtworks back to action

It was great three years back when I joined here. There are some amazing peers who are tenured Thoughtworkers from whom we can learn a lot.

Dislikes

The culture diluted a lot after IPO. It's a shell of the company that it was. No job security, no proper hikes matching the market and the projects are not that good.

Fat, closely knit higher management layer, not much scope of growth if you sit in middle management or lower to that. Absence of long term, full delivery owned projects from some time. Unpredictable demand pipeline. No hikes since 2 yrs, so all sorts of motivation issues & dissatisfaction.

Not confirmed after probation i was advised not to join here due to bad status of company and really bad leaders but i joined cuz i needed money asap. I was not confirmed after 6 months partially cuz for 4 months I was on bench or pitching 2-3 weeks in random projects i saw several exits also and felt like sinking ship Sr. with 2-3 exp said ESOP was a scam and they will barely get anything out of it...Read More

After onboaring its all downhill, I was not ocnfirmed after 6 months probation. Was given project 3 months ago only. There was no BA, no proper scrum practice, or project onbaording material. Wont recommend it for freshers due to no job stablity

Excellent culture. Everyone that works here is very welcoming and inclusive. There's not just friendliness, but honest feedbacks (tough love) that you'll get from your peers.

recently the projects are not very exciting. earlier there used to be a lot of greenfield projects. now there are projects like other services based companies.
