TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. It is good only for the people who dont want to grow and learn just like govt employees. But with a twist that your salary will not be incremented OR just 1% for media sake.

Never join this company before and age of 50. No learning, no appraisal, no growth, no team bonding.

Well the fact that every month the salary gets credited and maybe job security that's it

No employee perks or benefits. Powai branch has bad food services in there cafeteria and after multiple complaints no stringent actions are taken for improvement. No Diwali gifts not even sweets. There are many things to dislike thats the reason I am planning to leave now. What will I do of job security if I am not happy with my work.

Work Life Balance when no task. Work individually but compared with 1k - 2k individuals at the time of appraisal 3 months notice period is less, it should be 1 year so that the attrition rate will become 0.

Dislikes

Every company is same when deliverables are there. No Promotion even you work 20 hrs and delivering good results. No Hike, Freshers should not consider joining this. Come after 10-12 years of experience and enjoy your life by creating problems to juniors. No specific working days, if you have task you have to work because after this you will be considered for appraisal 😉

I worked for 2 projects before my current one where I had sleepless nights and lot of pressure. I used to for more than 14hrs in a day. There was no flexibility and no personal life. And there was no fare rating provided.

Only the thing in TCS that most of the employee would like is job security.. however i heard some layoffs in TCS

Management is literally pathetic. If you join in TCS you would definitely feel the same with Management.. especially RMG from TCS behaves very rudely which we did not expect it.

There is no growth in TCS. Appraisals range from 2-6% which is very less. You have to come 5 days to office. TCS is extremely regional and you will start feeling like a outsider there.

Only the job security and the exceptional health insurance is there which can be easily replaced in a different job.

Most annoying thing about working in TCS is that the company thinks it is making an impact in giving jobs which is true but in turn they are only making the candidate suffer more by scattering the future of his/hers.

I joined as fresher. For me it good experience 1st year, but later project management is not so good we are unable to change our project also since I joined I am in 1 project can't change to other project due to the management issues. They are not managing the resources well.
