Poor salary, they'll give hikes to people who join from other companies but not to the people who have been working hard for years. Actual Talents leave after few years and those who stay most of them are average on tech. Growth will slow down significantly after 2 yrs. job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

I don't even hate my manager as I understand they are also being pressured by their higher ups. They have no choice but to call us on Saturdays and Sundays. I am in one of the big projects in banking sector. So the pressure is high for everyone involved.

TCS is an organization that keep a tagline "Building on Beliefs" but don't stay on their words. I feel it's a worst company and following primitive methodologies of work. Once the organization was saying only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

Well the fact that every month the salary gets credited and maybe job security that's it

No employee perks or benefits. Powai branch has bad food services in there cafeteria and after multiple complaints no stringent actions are taken for improvement. No Diwali gifts not even sweets. There are many things to dislike thats the reason I am planning to leave now. What will I do of job security if I am not happy with my work.
