Appraisal and recommendations are not satisfactory. India's inflation rate starts at 8% hence if yearly appraisal is below 5% then we are not even beating the inflation with our hike which is a pain at TCS

Working with TCS is great experience but the project to which I have worked the managers are too toxic. They won't give respect to other health, they force the associates to report to office even on sick leave.

Dislikes

Mangers toxic nature. Least respect to the associates. Iam not telling that every manager is like that in TCS but my projects managers are like that.

Do not join TCS Internal IT unit ever, very fraud management and RSDO for Delhi Branch, they are poison for Employees. Specially Subir Mukherjee, Ajita Varma, Rachit Goel. They will bite you like snake, never join this unit. After completing their work, they will never identify who are you, toxic work environment and no growth at all.

Best company to work with complete job satisfaction work and family life balance is well maintained.

Biggest drawback of the company is no-rehiring policy this policy refrains pulling back the employees who have left the organisation and want to rejoin the organisation I wish if this policy would be abrogated I would be very happy to rejoin. Salary increment is quite slow in pace that is again a pain point it could get little better.

Lots of things.. Company is just growing only because of brand. No employee value, politics which has no limits, no promotions, salary increment is horrible, Toxic Work Environment: The overall atmosphere felt highly toxic. There was a consistent sense of negativity, with too much focus on internal politics and favoritism. The morale among employees was low, and it was evident that many people were struggling due to a lack of support and understanding from leadership.The company’s leadership appeared more focused on protecting its external image than addressing the internal challenges. It often felt like we were merely actors in a carefully scripted play, where the real issues were ignored, and everything was done to maintain a facade of success.The work environment was incredibly toxic, largely due to certain individuals whose behavior was allowed to persist by management. Despite knowing about the issues, the company chose to retain these individuals, which created an unhealthy atmosphere.If you're looking for an environment where you can grow and be recognized for your work, this may not be the place. Opportunities to learn and truly contribute to client delight, personal and professional satisfaction. Work is very rewarding in that sense (not always monetary side). Job security is quite good.

Dislikes

Culture needs to improve to understand work life balance and more women inclusion. Senior leadership needs more women and more empathy. Salary across is extremely low and this is a problem across BFSI companies. Promotions are very slow and that's demotivating leading to loss of good talent.

TCS only has brand name.Inside TCS nothing is good. A lot of favouritism and politics however it’s everywhere but not like TCS it’s next level. Even not proper Management nobody is there to help you.

You can switch among different domains of your choice if you have the right leadership team to support you. Also onsite positions are huge compared and if your profiles matches their requirement you will be onboarded but the main thing is RMG has to approve this.
