Dislikes

Founder Trustee has a very transactional relationship with his employees. If you bring in money to the organisation you are seen as successful, else you are not. Work in other areas is not valued. Hiring also needs to be done according to the job role and the skillset. No job security. If role is not happening you could be asked to leave in 15 days. You could be made to do work for which you were not appointed and are out of your skillset. But the school staff works really hard and there is a lot of improvement in the children that the organisation is working towards only because of the hard work of the school staff....Read More

Need Your Valuable Advice.

Hello, 6 months ago, I switched from my previous job to my current one with a 40% salary hike. At that time, it seemed like a great opportunity, but now, I am seriously considering my decision. My previous job had, 1. A European MNC team with excellent support and work culture 2. Good Time for my family & personal life 3. Flexible timing & permanent work-from-home 4. 5 days working with proper work-life balance Now, in my current Indian company: 1. 12-hour workdays, with additional work on Saturdays (despite a 5-day work policy) 2. No proper training 3. Toxic work culture, where I get scolded daily due to a lack of training 4. Hardly any time for my kids and parents 5. Started my health issues My previous company is willing to take me back with a 10% hike on my last salary. Given the work-life balance, supportive environment, and long-term growth prospects I had there, I am thinking of returning. *It is not going to impact on my monthly expenses.* Would you recommend going back?
