Once you've been in banking for a few years and have amassed big spending commitments, it's hard to find an alternative high paying career. People feel stuck. They can't even move to banking jobs in any more.

Company policies are followed in letter and spirit. Implementation of internal policies is done with utmost professionalism. Lot of check and balances are there so that there is no room to bypass such policies.

Dislikes

Personal growth, work life balance, remuneration as per market standards - these factors are not given slightest of importance by department heads. Lack of support from seniors and blame game when things go wrong. Internal politics has reached to the levels of toxicity. Some innocent employees are even victims of vendetta politics.

It's good to be working with Standard Chartered Bank with WFH. Work is there but there is shift allowance for day and night, plus cabs. India Trade is bad. Best are US and UK shift process.
