Work is interesting but the people are not.

Dislikes

They don't pay you adequately and will exploit you as much as possible. The worst is their office politics. Social media manager Bhavya handles most of office work so her ego is at 7th heaven and either you become a lapdog to her or she'll start playing games with you in the office unti l you start giving her importance or get so frustrated that you resign. But since she's handling everything boss also have a blind eye towards her. There's no culture of overtime even if they'll ask you to work late and come on holidays....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
