Love the company culture. Management is flexible & friendly...well, as long as you don't talk about Appraisal. - A good place for absolute beginners. - Flexible work hours - CEO is friendly.

Job security - Good
Work satisfaction - Good

Dislikes

- Like the CEO as a person. Not a visionary, acts like a passive investor, unwelcoming to new ideas and execution strategies. - Lower salary compare to the industry standards. - Lack of system & workflow which is a must for a service sector catering to the overseas clients.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting. There's no proper workflow or system in place, so I struggled a bit in the beginning. I learnt everything on the job by myself 'coz ther is no proper training or a work hours dedicated to learn new skills. Overall

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

_Lessons Learned from 1.3 Years of Remote Work_ 1. Separate friendship and professional work to maintain professionalism. 2. Keep career decisions and sensitive information confidential. 3. Avoid procrastination by staying focused on goals and prioritizing tasks. 4. Focus on personal growth, rather than comparing yourself to others. 5. Set clear boundaries and prioritize tasks to maintain productivity. 6. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor, even in virtual interactions. 7. Use video conferencing tools to stay connected with colleagues. 8. Prioritize integrity by delivering high-quality work. 9. Take ownership of your career by setting goals and seeking feedback. 10. Establish clear expectations with colleagues and managers. 11. Celebrate achievements and recognize progress to stay motivated. By applying these lessons, I've been able to thrive in a remote work environment.
