I just liked the team who were truthful to me even before I joined Remitbee. Rest of the story you can find below in dislikes as there is nothing else to include here.

I was desperately searching for a job, that was when I got selected as Developer at Remitbee. When I first got the offer letter, I started researching about the company and the founders. At first I went through the glassdoor and ambitionbox reviews, looking at which made me think thats it's a pretty decent organization to join. But the fact is that later I came to know that these reviews are either fake or written by management itself. Later, I reached out to the employees already working there via LinkedIn. I texted them personally and later on had some conversations over call also. And believe me everyone whom I contacted didn't mention anything negative about the company. So I decided that I'll join the company. One day suddenly I got call from HR asking me to join the next day itself but actually I still had some days left to join. When I asked why suddenly, the HR said they are going to terminate a employee and am gonna replace that employee. This shocked me as I was told that there is no firing happened so far. And they made me join the very next day and when I joined and looked at the code and all, I was fascinated by the coding standards followed by the existing developer. With my these much years of experience I can definitely tell that the employee they decided to terminate is highly skilled. And the worst part is that except that one person, I was attending meeting with everyone. This made me realise that rhe management was very clear about I should not get in touch with that developer in any way. So I decided to left the company realising that the same can happen to me anytime if such thing can happen with employee who has spent more than 3 yrs for the company. And I left within a week. I feel overwhelmed for working with an organization like RemitBee The new policies are helpful and additional flexibility for women employee is welcomed I have been with the organization for the last 2 years and things have changed more positively in the last year. I appreciate the efforts put by the management to bring-in the better work environment. Remitbee is transitioned from my startup to a matured company. I have given responsibility to identify various technological advancement that can be brought to the platform. So far it's going good. Main stakeholders are showing interest in my work which keep me motivated. Fast growing can many and it has large customer base in Canada to support its growth.

Working with overseas team in different timezone is bit of problem.
