Company overall feedback - Everything from top to bottom, the company like most of the other Ed-tech companies has no product vision. The head of the company who is not from the same background doesn't understand the ground reality and tries to handle every situation like a factory line manager. The people beneath, who try to sugges t something good are either fired or made to resign due to intense pressure. The ones who remain in the system, keep quiet and nod their heads. ------ If you are seeking for a role in the content team please understand that you have no growth till the current content head is present. Like a typical manager, he would take up your good ideas and present to the upper management as his own. He won't take any stand for you and his team's work, like any good leader would do. He rarely talks to the team, quoting his busy schedule but in reality he doesn't like having conversations or getting to know the team. He has absolutely no bonding with the team. The only times he would call you is to manner you or give back a good piece of mind. If you are looking to align your goals and speak to him about your growth in some other vertical or the same project, there's no point. Also like other companies, wrong people are promoted and taken care of by the company, but the person who genuinely works is just loaded with more meagre tasks. ----- Absolutely incapable management to assign tasks to the team as there's no full-proof vision the company has about the product. Someday they feel like doing this, everything else is scraped off and the entire team is told to work on that, even if that is not a part of their job description. Content people are supposed to look after content but they are told to do marketing, sales and what not. If you are interested in moving to other vertical and try to learn something new and upskill yourself, they won't let you do that or change your designation even if you have the potential. ----- Talking about the facilities - they are pathetic, washroom are smelly, always out of tissues or liquid soap. Workstation have old damaged chairs and furniture. There are vending machines for tea, which dispense out average tea/coffee. You can't head out of the office premises if you feel like having a tea, you will have to take approval from 10 places.
