People. The work environment is very toxic. Their communication style is passive aggressive. Constant gaslighting about issues that were raised. It was remote work. I was the only person working in Bangalore, and majority of the team is in Delhi. They would discuss me before approaching me about the issue. The decision was already made about me. There were double standards in terms of expectations, if you didn't do something they would make sure to bring it up. If they did the same thing, they would brush it off saying it's a learning process. I had major mental health issues dealing with them. When I approached three different people from the team regarding this issue, I was told that it is a corporate culture, I shouldn't expect too much from them as it is India and "we" (Indians) are not there yet in terms of empathy and kindness.
