Work load depends upon the process to process. In my process work load heavy and the main thing is no cooperation provided neither the team members nor manager. Company is good but managers and leaders are not helpful and there is very less growth. No new Technology available in optum, and you can see lot of peoples here who are working more than 10 years and they looks like CEO of the company. And they never helped you even they ordered you. 1. Work load very high. 2. No one support you. 3. Old guys behavior very rude as well as manager behavior 4. No Growth even you are doing good Work. Which one is doing flattery they can growth easily. 5. Team members behavior very bad and not helpful and they realize you that you are not doing well. And lot of things which i can't explain

A great place to work. extremely happy that I joined Optum. It has the best infrastructure and job security is 10000%. Salary always on time. Most projects has good work life balance unless your in production support. Less layoffs compared to other companies

Optum is really a great organisation to work. Many benefits including work Life balance, can facility, hybrid model, very supportive colleagues and senior management is also very empathetic.

Doesnt care for your technical abilities, even though you are quite experienced in a tech stack, in the name of re-org, they will add you to a team where the tech stack is completely different and dont value your proficiency and skill set.

Well, it's good company as a thought. However the management would make sure that your hate the every bit of your life with them. Since they want to make numbers in front of the leadership. The Transport department and the way things are handled is terrible. Everyone is on the ego trip. It would only be a good company only if you are a sdm and above. Rest are used as pawns by the same people. And they would make sure that their instrests remain protected by any means possible. They pretend to care for people, while it's opposite.
