They hired me with a good salary, great hike from my previous salary. Interview process was challenging, multiple rounds, but I was given proper clarity and feedback each time - One of the main reasons I chose to join here despite holding multiple competing offers. Business & Financials wise company looks so stable and always growing.

I was hired for a particular 'Vertical' - which was clumsy as hell, no proper process for anything - CI/CD, Security vulnerability scanning, Deployment process, Quality gates, Testers, Performance testing, etc., - Everything is available for namesake, but nothing implemented properly. Leadership wants to drive success by setting target numbers, Senior Managers plan for unrealistic goals, finally putting pressure on Senior & Junior Engineers. They expect a Senior Engineer to lead a project / module - thus managing a few people (3-6), attend a hell lot of meetings, work with incompetent Release Management team, Respond to production issues or incidents ASAP round the clock, and work for 10 points in a Sprint as per Agile. Agile is huge laugh - since priorities change left & right, Ad-Hoc changes are pulled right in the middle of sprints, and end of PI - you will be bashed in reviews if you do not complete the planned items for the PI. Excessive favouritism, manipulation by Managers, Seniors Managers etc. Lack of opportunity & growth. Bare minimum salary increment, below industry standards, with no increment sometimes. Excessive office politics. Managers perception of you can make or break your career here.

Too much of Politics Outsourced people(TCS) employed as FTE in NIQ has totally destroyed harmony and peace in Chennai hub No recognition for talented ones No appreciation for hard work Credit stealing Dominating for no reason and framing others negatively HR and Managers don't even show any consideration or concern.

1) Very less hike and promotion 2) HR department is very bad in terms of maintaining policy and is not concerned about any of the employees. They are just there for fun . 3) Some managers and employees got promotion just because they are close to their senior and not because of their performance. 4) frequent changes and transition,even if it is not required. By far the best company i would say. Never rethink if you are offered a role here. havnet seen a better work life balance. several events are hosted time to time. it is a hierarchy less organisation so everybody is very friendly

so far there are no cons i just feel like the HRs at nielsen are the worst. they take months to reply to you and the hirirng process is very slow
