LTI provides opportunity to up-skill, since they have tie-up with private training institute and employee can get good online training(self learning). Chennai office is in DLF, so the work environment is good. LTI has fun zone to relax, evening free snacks(which are not provided in many IT service companies), yearly once employee are allowed to bring their family. There is no transparency in appraisal process,good appraisal rating does not mean you get good hike. On what basis hike is given is a top secret. Career growth is depend on your manager not on the hard work you put. As I work as SAP consultant, I had to travel a lot. But worst things is, I will never know when I will return home. Nowork from home option, it is all up to the manager to permit you. Recently there as been many cases where long time serving employees were sent out siting non-performance. So job security is not guaranteed. Most of the project I had worked in, I had to work on Saturday and sometime Sunday without compensation. The work culture, the programs which are shared by the knowledge enhancement team ( special for freshers). For freshers it’s best company to work and learn. Even they are offering more salaries compared to other sr based companies.
