Civil engineering department is having good & hardworking staff, very supportive to me throughout my career in Jain institute of technology.

Dislikes

No encouragement to staff From Management, No perks & benefits given to staff, administration by management is weak, no latest equipment in the lab to conduct innovative projects and research. Overall college lacks in development. I request management to consider all these points & make changes in the institution. So that admissions will get filled.

Work Details

I'm satisfied with my work, but hard to say it's pressurised work bcz more office related work compared to teaching. No personal development in the career. As per my experience management will not consider/look in to the hardwork of faculties.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
