Worst place for freshers to join, as there is no room to learn or grow in what you are interested. But if you are are yes sir/mam and always there to please people perfect place for you as they will make you work for 12-15 hrs a day.. and salary is obviously lowest.

Job security wise and learning wise okay.
No hikes for multiple consecutive years for laterals, atleast 3 to 4 years, need to be very hard internally. Lot of politics, onsite only for who put down the papers. Unit work will be more than the project related work or sometimes equal. Good Ratings are not given eventhough you perform very better. Mediocre management and various pathetic company policies.

Worst work culture. Team members used abusive Language curse words. I handled complete project responsibility of project we were team of 4 but 0% contribution from team members I have handled all the development and all the work . Team members only used to talk too much and steal credit actually doing nothing. 3 members got paid for free over 8 months. When I brought up team dynamics with manager it has not been taken care and dismissed as joke . I brought this up many times in 9 months but it was not taken seriously. So I resigned. There are no likes for Infosys. They will give high salaries for experienced persons. If someone as a fresher who works hard they won't recognise and they won't increase your salary.
I have been working in infosys from past 3 years. They have given increased 5000 after 2 years. They won't give any jokes also. But, they need full work. They will call on weekends and weekdays whenever issue arise. We have to login into the call whenever some one call you.

Toxic work culture. Each unit head and his managers run unit as their private enterprise. They can create all fake proofs to fire an employee or promote their favorites. Unit heads and Onsite unit heads do not like to be questioned, very fragile egos. They can spoil your career in a snip. All company initiatives are for show only, IJP , HEAR, Appraisal. You join and retire/fired on the same salary you joined irrespective of your years of association. Females practicing their authority and leadership rights are not unacceptable. You would be given a senior position but all power and decision will be exercised and controlled by male leadership only. If you challenge then you would be snipped out within days. I don’t like much aspects in infosys and its policies.
First of all there will be no hikes even you work more than 4 years and even if you work up to your mark exactly when the appraisal time they’ll release from the project so that you can’t ask them for appraisal if you ask for appraisal they will say you are not in the project till the projected time so you are not applicable for appraisal.
