Here delivery manager and Product owner won't care about the team request or interest, they just need someone to present demo to client. You can see politics in all level. You should not send any request or pointing the errors to seniors. If you do, manager will keep meeting and advise not to do. Also, he will insist to rework the seniors' mistakes. In our team always there was a cold war in who is Product Owner. It doesn't mean they take responsibility and clarify the doubts. They want superior among others.
