I have concerns regarding ICICI Bank's compensation and work culture. Specifically: - Salary: The bank offers significantly lower salaries (4-6 LPA) to Tier 3 college graduates with 5-6 years of experience, including B.Tech/M.Tech degrees, compared to freshers from top-tier1 colleges for similar work. - Workload: Employees are oftenoverloaded with excessive work, leading to undue stress. - Bias: There appears to be a bias towards hiring and promoting graduates from Tier 1 colleges. - Promotion and hikes: Opportunities for growth and salary increases seem limited. - Work environment: Some senior managers allegedly create a toxic work environment, exhibiting unprofessional behavior towards female employees and using aggressive language. - Leave policies: Junior employees are often denied leave, including PL, CL, and sick leave, while senior managers enjoy their weekends and week days as well. - Business ethics: The bank's management practices seem to lack business ethics and morals towards gender specific. - Expectation of constant availability: Junior employees, including those in Designation/Department (DE), are expected to be available 24/7, including weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and off-days, which is unsustainable and blurs the line between personal and professional life. - No compensation for extra work: Employees are not provided with compensatory off (comp-off) for working extra days or hours, leading to burnout and impacting work-life balance....Read More

Nothing as Such. Earlier heard Good Things about ICICI. But looking into present days scenario it seems to be a myth.

Demotions and Role Change without any intimation , consent and without taking into consideration about past experiences. HR’s role is Nothing. Just like a sleeping giants and henpecked husband. Future Career Growth is Nil. Anytime threaten to give RMG or Job loss. Employees are completely insecure about job and a few Seniors are taking decisions as per their own criteria. People like us were hired from other Banks by telling some role and after some time the role was suddenly changed to lower category. Actually ditching employees hired from other Banks. Complete lack of Moral Support and Guidance from Seniors. Zero intervention from HR . People like me had decided to join ICICI with retirement planning, but now it seems bank has decided not to provide that opportunity for long lasting relationship. Ideally should be the number 1 bank in India. Compared to HDFC & AXIS BANK the customer service and customer handling level is 200% better than HDFC & AXIS BANK

Well there will be monthly target no matter what designation you are at you should complete your target. And if it is on role job , for sales there will be no incentives how much ever you generate the income there is no use of it . What I say you guys is never join banking sectors if you are not interested in sales that to in a on role .
