Lots of work pressure and no management support if your boss is taking the workplace as his own property and taking things personally, he would daily take you on the task and would pressurize you to resign.

I have concerns regarding ICICI Bank's compensation and work culture. Working here is like you are working in a government office. No one knows anything. So you will get more penic and big Chaos.

No skill development for the external employee. No promotions even if you get it by any chance you will hardly get hike of 3 or 4 % Also they'll treat you like a student. Soon you will feel like you are going to a school not for the work.

Post 2019 after the change in top level, there was a paradigm shift in work culture....... Taken the power of HR team and given it to sales team totally....... In result job insecurity increases and people whom seniors do not find suitable, has been thrown down to a mysterious department post FY evaluation where they have no roles to play and indirectly a pressure to leave the company

Too much Virtual Meeting and MIS preparation, too much MIS management rather than client meeting and problem solving approach, delayed credit decisions. Lack of manpower and not able to retain old, quality, experienced, skilled and performer employees. Quality of freshers are very poor, management not putting effort to handhold them, lack of breathing space. Bottom to up feedback not taken in management. Decision made only upon statistical reference instead of ground reality. Very poor compensation policy, no incentive or rating culture. Man marking, staff usages, proper staff onboarding, training and monitoring are missing. There sugar coating everything. ICICI won't say target they say opportunity. They will make you prepare a MoP and if you make it according to you, you will be pressurised to change it as per your heads and they'll say you made this MoP, why have you not achieved it.

It depends on the team you work for and mainly the manager who you are reporting to. I am having a bad experience only because of the manager as she is micro managing and unnecessarily shouts at things that has 0 value addition to the tasks. Nothing major to learn in the profile, it's mostly ppt and excel work.

It is a brand whenever we reach to any client he atlist offered us a chair to sit and listen what we say where in other bank it is very difficult to convince about product.

Dislikes

Time of branch closure and Branch Manager screening is next to absorb every day branch closes at 8.30pm we reach home at very late hence we can't spend a quality time with family. Hence our enery label remains low when we enter into a fresh day start.

Employee management by sales and business instead of HR department and internal politics is the only reason of attrition of employees. An employee of I bank will never think to quite but the senior management internal politics forced them to quite because of honesty.
