Depends upon the team you are working with, generally a nice company with very convenient workspace and culture . No strict timings ,Salary is Good 👍🏻

Dislikes

Medical insurance and other benefits are average. No cab facility for us . Most of team members reporting that they have less work life balance and additional working hours.

Learning opportunities are good here. Internal movement between team to team or project to project scope is good.

From past few years, They are blindly maintaining only attendance, without thinking its impact. Anyone is coming on any day. There is no team bonding as no one following the same day or atleast they should have 5 days compulsory in every month for one team, which will make them to know who all are there in the team. 1. No monitoring on people instead allowing them to complete their work peacefully (but, few cases depending on project) 2. Location flexibility - if project location is flexible, you can work from any IBNM's location. 3. 1. One and only thing is there is no project assignment system or workforce management system to assign projects based on your skills. Exception: if we have good skills and if we know how to look next assignment, there could be possibility to avoid above concern. Otherwise IBM always good choice.

No promotion, No increment, If asked for Increment managers feel it is going from their pocket. If the project gets over (Ramp Down) what is the fault of associates ? The new project will say u are new to this project so we cant give u any promotion.

I all comes down to what project you are working on. If you are a part of ISDL, yes the pay is good compared to to GBS but the skills which you develop or use in ISDL are very platform specific and little use if outside of IBM.

Small term and very outdated projects. In interview even in client interview also they will ask questions like NASA but at ground level you will get work like a fresher. If you are an experienced person your all knowledge will get rusted here. And if by any chance you want to change the project. You need to face very bad politics. If you get frustrated and want to resign, you can not leave before 90 days. The buy out policy is there but your manager will not accept it....Read More
