HCLTech gives you a job security and you get to learn a lot of new aspect of your work in every single thing you do.

It doesn’t give timely appraisal and when it gives you a hike for the sake of appraisal it comes around to be nothing. Company culture is very laid back and you can feel the politics in every department of your work. HRs there are the biggest liars you would come across

Only job security is a pro in HCLTech, unless you are someone with 15-20 years of experience at some management level.

Hardly any projects, only support projects are there. Skill development is poor. Pathetic salary hikes. Appraisal cycle will be postponed without any reason.

Hikes not more than 10% even you are exceptional performer. Promotions not happens. High work load. work life balance not apply. Poor HR policies.

Nothing is there to like. Initially job security was a benifit now they are making increasing efforts to make sure all experienced employees leave and they fill all positions with interns and freshers for a salary of less than 15k month

Negligible appraisal. No promotions . There is no standard of giving salary. Junior employee in same team with lower band could have higher salary than senior with upper band. They do not give any goodies on Diwali/new year. They do not give any money on referrals. Just the extra miles points.

In HCL salary breakup is a biggest scam. Because if you are joining company with 15 LPA, your take home will be around 95K. Remaining 30k is not assured to return to you. So please dont join HCL if your family is fully depends only on your salary.

Liers, in press conferences they said appraisals will be given to employees in OCTOBER while they have not even provided it till December and is expected to move forward to JAN OR FEB which was earlier expected for July. In short since 2 years no appraisals. Moreover forget about appraisals, they will even cut your EPB component. They don’t even have any process for deciding EPB payout, they randomly decide it. Sometime provide 80% for 9 score, sometime 50% for same 9 score...Read More

Good learning experience and nice team to work with, but it's entirely different for project to project.

1. Appraisal delay for every year and get less percentage hike only. 2. Expectations from employees are more, but what we are getting is not much.

1. Only God knows about appraisal cycle and evaluation method 2. 100% u won't get variable pay though u got better rating 3. Montly pay have variable component, that too won't be payed 100% which means ur take home salary varies every quarter 4. Don't bother even u worked for HCL more than 10 years ,if u r in bench for 4 weeks ,HR team will block access and threnten u to submit resignation

No bus facility, not good work culture, no work-life balance, worst senior management, very bad appraisal mechanism and which is not implemented or followed by management effectively, salary hikes are very less sometimes a big NO for it, No transparency in any process, policies are there just in documents nothing is favoured to employees and will be considered by HR team only when they need. The interactive culture, Job security and skill development is something I can brag about my company.

Everything else except the goods I mentioned above. Especially the salary benefits, people who are newly joining and people who are already having higher salary might get what they wanted.. but people like me who have average salary (below 30k) and average 5 yrs experience, can never expect anything good since they think I don't deserve it.

Company ambience and environment is tooo good... regarding work life balance it completely depends upon the projects... Currently in my project I could give a rating 5 star for work life balance...it's not even much stressful job at all...project wise it depends upon your luck... security for women is very good

Worst salary, worst promotion, everything is worst. You have to be spoon of your manager. The appraisal process is worst. You need setting with your manager. HR are puppet of manager, HR will never respond your query, especially regarding salary and promotion.

Do not think much about increment or promotion. HR’s are of no use a 1 day approval will atleast take 10 days. As I had come accoss a situation where 1 simple approval took 4 months.
