Only job security is a pro in HCLTech, unless you are someone with 15-20 years of experience at some management level.
Hardly any projects, only support projects are there. Skill development is poor. Pathetic salary hikes. Appraisal cycle will be postponed without any reason.

One thing only that no one cares about you mean to say when are you coming or going to office...now it's upon you takes it positive or negative....HCLT or Wipro these companies are kind of Desi companies...if u r 3.1 + above band then 15-20 % salary they will make as bonus and wipe out
No salary increase from past 2 years, its luck for you if your manager hear your query, also 1-2 years of experience HR will be top of your head doesn't matter how much experienced you are

I always have work to do and learn.
They try to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.

Job security, international client base, on-site, decent facilities in office, multiple technologies so you can move internally and learn.
Poor salary hike, people loyal to the company are under appreciated, no mechanism to match the salary of existing employees as per market standards no matter how skilled or certified we are. Lazy employees who are in good books with managers are not questioned leading to more workload on employees who are hard working. Regional politics and use of regional languages by senior management.

It was my first it job and it was terrible. I was in project at the time of my maternity leave.my manager gave me low rating because of my maternity in annual performance and she gave me reason as budget issue.later my hr called me and ask to resign because of low rating.

This is all depends on your manager.
1. working hours there is no time limit of your shift. 2. Shift timing is changed every week or 2 times in a month. 3. Transport team is very bad. 4. HR said ask your questions but they guys have no answer about Appraisal or Salary increment/ promotion. 5. Appraisal is very bad like 1-5% only.

a good management gives good results. I like most of the things in HCL. 20kms to my home and flexible hours but the wrong person to manage project ruin everything.
No hike, no early release, Hcl does not follow the policies but we need to follow the policies. zero health benefits. worst project management. Variable pays are worst of all these negative points. Helping an employee to resolve an issue is hardest part. refering own people to projects. Healthy hiring but the bench strength is bigger than what they need.

They are hiring people for a project but after joining they keep the resource on bench and for bench people, they have to come to office 5 days in a week for minimum of 6 hours. Those people who are relocating for joining to HCL, they keep them on bench and then they are not reimbursing their relocation expenses by saying you are on bench.

1. Salary & appraisal: They will not increase the salary for more than 2.8-3 years. Fake promises to increase salaries and hike. No extra money for OT also. And also they are deducting variable pays every months without any reason (there is court case against HCL for that, you can read article on internet also). 2. Work life balance: In one word disgusting. We are working from morning 9 to late nights 9:30 average daily even one Saturday and Sundays. 3. Company culture: Fake promises and fake hike news they spread, and even after 2.8 years they are not releasing hike letters. 4. No bus facility, not good work culture, no work-life balance, worst senior management, very bad appraisal mechanism and which is not implemented or followed by management effectively, salary hikes are very less sometimes a big NO for it, No transparency in any process, policies are there just in documents nothing is favoured to employees and will be considered by HR team only when they need.
