Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Company has stayed and survived many situations wherein it otherwise could havd shutdown. Provides an opportunity to work in different departments, higher managment is not rigid but is flexible in your demands. Fixed weekend off. Does not ask to work extra hours. Provided you are comitted, it will absolutely provide an opportunity to travel to US, bears all expenses. As it has given me chance to travel. Supportive higher management. Perhaps one aspect which might not work in your favor would be compensation. No incentive based criteria. Slow growth financially. Because of recent developments, no appraisal assured. No work from home option. No health Insurance
