Employee benefits are good like incentives, free food at office, goodies etc.

Dislikes

They dont appreciate or give you appraisal if you perform. They give you hike and help in IJP if you make relation with manager, senior members & hang out with them etc. They give preference only south Indian people in everything. There is like a community of South Indian and North Indian and since day 1, I felt that.

Not a good company and team members are not supportive Our feedback is not heard Old employees are preferred New employees are not treated well Managers are biased towards old employees No support from team members. If you ask question in a group you would be made to feel that you are not worth. Team members old emoloyees will project in such a way that you cannot work on your own without their support. By that way they gain their credits by putting us down. Your work is not appreciated they tell it is normal work But when you do a mistake it is magnified Less recognition Recent layoffs is worst. Why did they hire so many people and then fire stating redundant roles. If it's redudant they should not have hired people in the first place. One of the best company where i worked. Given me a chance to grow and develop my skills.

Dislikes

Firing without knowing the reason all of sudden. That too when i was ill and i have to take care of my mother who is of 87 years old. Which put me in depression i am trying to come out of it. Now its very difficult to get a job at this stage.

People in freshworks is the reason most people stay back for other than the salary aspect.

Dislikes

The Freshworks "Kudumba" culture is slowly being demised to make way for American capitalism & usual MNC politics. Some of the people on the top have no clue of the reality & just want to keep firing in India & hiring in US in the name of efficiency.

Typical US culture of hire and fire 99% leadership is outside India - they take the final call It's not an Indian company anymore Pre IPO, this was a great company. Post IPO, disaster has happened The founder - Girish is also nowhere to be found and might have resigned already

Overall work culture is good but most of team have lots of internal politics.

Dislikes

Lots of internal policies, they layoff bulk of people all of sudden even the top performers were laid off. HR work on favour of higher management. No promotion. Zero job security. No career growth and scope of learning is less in most of team.

No job security. They recently fired 660 employees- that's 13 per cent of the Total workforce even though the company made an annual profit higher than the previous year. Even though I was not affected, I feel embarassed that the higher management shows a lot of greed and being inconsiderate towards employees who work day and night to provide high values and top service to the clients.

Lately there has been frequent org rearrangements. Managers are never satisfied. Team changes are with immediate effect and quarter reviews are reduced. Managers are more focussed on delivering unattainable ETAs. Career growth wise feels like we are stagnant. All this can vary depending on the team you are in and how your manager is.
