Work life balance is good in core business services domain. If you got good manager you will really enjoy working here.Most of managers are really good, few are really amazing.

Dislikes

Few managers/supervisor are very rude, they will behave like they are king/queen of the world. And people reporting to them are their slave. They will keep finding reason to poke you, they will make you beg for leaves as well. God forbid if you request for wfh arrangement for a week or 2.

It's all about quantity of billable hours. Slavery is popular & appreciated. Human quotient is absent. Any different approach or idea is condemned. Engineers & non-accounting grads too are hired for accounting jobs. No SOP in place.

This is big firm but having multiple small teams which makes a full big organization, so ultimately you will be working under one partner & size of the team would be 50-100 so, it's similar to startup company, 2. You will feel lot of micromanagements. 3. there will be No guarantee for your job, any time they can say you TATA, Bye-Bye. 4.
