Hybrid culture no one cares about your login time, got to work with client directly lot of leaves at (least for our team)

Work life balance is good in core business services domain. If you got good manager you will really enjoy working here.Most of managers are really good, few are really amazing.

Dislikes

Few managers/supervisor are very rude, they will behave like they are king/queen of the world. And people reporting to them are their slave. They will keep finding reason to poke you, they will make you beg for leaves as well. God forbid if you request for wfh arrangement for a week or 2.

Poor work life balance. Zero job security. Unprofessional environment. Poor management. People converse in regional languages. Quality & efficiency are undermined. It's all about quantity of billable hours. Slavery is popular & appreciated. Human quotient is absent. Any different approach or idea is condemned. Engineers & non-accounting grads too are hired for accounting jobs. No SOP in place.

Ey has dead work culture the teams which I am part of . Like there is barely any team grouping. Individuals are least bothered about networking. Few seniors and managers have ego issues, they don't like reverse feedbacks. They push all their blames to junior staffs and take credit of all the good work being done by staff. I believe the culture of EY Middle East is truly inclusive. Despite being a non-arabic speaker I never felt as being excluded. Specially in Qatar, my team was truly global as we had team members from various nationalities and we all worked as one team.

Among all the Big4s in the Middle East, EY is one of the lowest paying consulting company.
