I got a good & understanding team. My team was the best thing i liked at EY.

EY is all about cost cutting. They offer average pay packages & with marginal increments & bonus. There are a lot of deductions in form of penalties which are totally unnecessary & unacceptable. Poor work like balance & unnecessary deductions makes working at EY bad.

No work life balance, Micro managing, escalations for not talking and chit chatting with colleagues, manager and the entire team was horrible and torturing. Please do not join EY GDS if you want peace of mind . Company stated having hybrid during interview.post joining manager is announcing to come to office daily . As per offer letter working hours is 9 hrs a day but manager bring new rules saying you need to work more than 9 hours and that too when I was in training period when no work was assigned. You don't get to take leave even if you have an medical emergency....Read More

I believe the culture of EY Middle East is truly inclusive. Despite being a non-arabic speaker I never felt as being excluded. Specially in Qatar, my team was truly global as we had team members from various nationalities and we all worked as one team.

Among all the Big4s in the Middle East, EY is one of the lowest paying consulting company.

Extremely poor culture. Company don't give appraisal letters to some employees and states that it's a glitch from their end. Higher management incapable to bring clients or engage consultants and then forces resignation. Bootlickers in close circle with partners and directors gets promotions and benefits snatching all benefits from silent performers.

EY GDS culture is worst, too much office politics, poor leadership and management. These days they are hiring leaders from call centre and banks who does not have any experience into consulting and proper corporate culture. They are coming with a bad mindset of micro managing and dominating nature. Specially the people from Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon are worst.

It depends on which entity you join I am working for EY India LLP tech consulting and 3 years been great. Culture and work life balance is great. Make sure to work and always get good client feedback. Work from home for eligible employees whos working great at client place. Outings, management events , offsite everything is good.

Dislikes

They don’t have rule of hire and fire like other service companies, but it’s good if you have a project always. Avoid being on bench. Only bad part is no cab facility.
