One of the worst environments, where there is no respect for any of the employees and there are no employee-friendly activities during festivals or any celebrations as such. The company makes some of the employees work continuously for more than 15 hours. Cannot expect any standard. Employees are hired through personal recommendations of old staff close to the CEO irrespective of the educational qualifications required for the role. Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
