Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Nothing to like about this company. Management needs to be changed as nothing is properly streamlimed. No proper guidance frm the HR head who is is given uoat importance. She has right to hire and fire people left right and center. Actually she needs to be replaced with someone who can do justice to that designation. Taking leave is a big issue. You need to apply 2months in advance for a paid leave. No proper work ethics, no proper co ordination. Pathetic place to work...Read More

A very bad experience working for this company. The main and only reason not to work here is the HR, she is bad witj english communication, has he own set of rules and everyone has to follow it, humiliates all the employees irrespevtive of the reason and designation , be it the house keeping to the proceas head and the owner and ceoof the company.
