Excellent Job security if you are good at your work. Decent Work life balance. Good company culture.

Dislikes

Salary is just ok, not very competitive. Merit is not rewarded properly. Even average or below people get good hikes. Kind of soft socialism. Quality of work is not high-tech.

Pros: Work life balance and good salary Cons: Heavy micromanagement not only by the Manager but also other architects in team. Here some so called "experts" dont have knowledge on the particular subject. Abusive words used , making the employees to force resign.

Work culture, social life . People here are lonely and depressed

The core values of company is Trust, For one another, Freedom to act which is reflected aptly in the business environment at Continental. However recently due to some bad strategic decisions at top management level the company is struggling and going through a turbulent time at HO in Germany whereas the growth story is ascending in India. Overall a good organisation to work for.

Dislikes

Some bad decisions by top management and indifferent attitude towards feedback from employees. No salary benchmarking in recent times.

Legacy company in automotive sector. German counterparts are very knowledgeable, good and supportive

Am from VED department, 1. Only disadvantage is managers are hardcore politicians. 2. Key skillset of managers in this dept. (Middle level , BU-1) are favoritism, not contributing anything to the company in-terms of project decision making work, innovation etc. (we can learn how to be idle and sweep off all hikes and promotion) 3. A wonderful company, losing its sales volume in India, only because of these managers. 4. For the past 4 years in internal survey, employees used to point that, managers are doing internal politics, promotions and hikes are being stealed by them, but HR wont take any action against them. 5. Groupism in all aspects.. region based, old employees .. your growth will comes to you only after passing by them. Recommendation to candidates who has an offer to join here : "PLEASE AVOID AS OF NOW" Existing women leadership in this company is more effective and brave person, where she will bring change in management level in upcoming years. Very good organization for freshers. Can learn many things. If good projects were alloted, then he/she will shine very well.

Few managers are doing politics. As this is everywhere, we can't do anything. Instead of supporting other departments, better to work on same department which will help to gain scope of work, merits, rewards and more.

Working at continental has been a roller coaster of uncertainty due to the lack of job security.and ineffective management.Constant changes in direction and unclear communications make it challenging to feel confident in ur role. It was really very unimaginable when I got see such. Currently 150+ yrs old company is running in loss and there is no such job security even if ur working as an internal or an external. Top Management plagued by Bosch Management. I believe in Conti and believe in mission of AN but don’t believe in PL4. The new boss has made the PL as his personal playground and ruined the good culture. Once a collaborative team is now backstabbing and playing pure politics.
