Working at Coles Supermarket actually provided me with lot of experience and knowledge that has help me with my personal life. I have learned to manage not only myself during challenges but also manage upwards and downwards even being at a low management position and have not only done tasks manually as worker but have done management as well. There are team member discount card that are available to use for shopping within business. Another part I liked about the company was I was paid on time which help to pay off my bills. My personal experience may not be great but it may be because my line manager or people working in management within Coles whether state or head office or top management couldn't keep balance with the business model....Read More

Dislikes

The work culture within company is obviously area of focus. Work pressure is high as well. The team work is also not that great few team members do get involved with politics with other managers to pull their own manager down. Company management does work with governments and do affect personally within team member life when they feel that team member is trying to keep balance within company. I did receive some good feedback as well during my work at Coles supermarket but it goes unnoticed during performance review. There is hardly any on the job training sessions for team members in the business its mainly there own manager who have to spend time with team member that could be painful as well. There is much more i can write negatives about the business but would like to limit myself now as the company is already aware about it....Read More
