1. Okayish work culture. 2. In my case, I found my teammates more helpful than managers or tech leads. 3. If project revenue is good, salary hike will be good. Otherwise expect 5-8% hike.

Dislikes

1. Toxic tech lead in my case. Micromanagement. 2. Internal politics is top notch. 3. More than 10 hours work on workdays, some Saturdays without extra pay.

Work culture mostly depend on Project and project manager. In my case i got very good project manager and project. I also got wfh and manage to wlb easly.

There is really nothing to like in Cognizant for a real techie.

Dislikes

It is not at all employee friendly. 10 hours mandatory office time tracking. Worst HR policies that you can find in an IT company. Bench policy is hell. Poor work life balance due to the above. HR that has no idea about IT or IT skills and that only favor project management. AI would better replace them. No real growth in technology and career due to lack of direction and expertise within leadership.
