Opportunity to own the challenge and learn as most of the folks are afraid to take risks. Easy to fool upper management if you are very good in technical skills.

Good place for freshers who want to start their career. Lot of opportunities to learn and explore.

Long timer are not treated well. For some level the increments are not there for years and if it's there, it's very little and that too delayed. you don't know which year rating we are getting what. There are huge difference in packages even at the same level. If you are lateral joining Cognizant, make a move within two years otherwise your growth will be hampered. There are a lot of mandate courses for associates whereas Cognizant is always on the media for the wrong doing by its own leaders. It has lost his glory and functions like two companies within, Executive leadership and the rest. Decision are made by external consulting companies and the new board of directors without any proper due diligence and caused a huge demotivation among the employees. Mandate 9 hours of working hour, however most of them slog more than that and sometimes weekends and holidays too like any other company. So don't expect work-life balance.
