As a whole cognizant is excellent. They provide excellent skill development.

At Hyderabad location a manager called sankalp is very rude and very miss behaved person and a manager called simran they both handle google projects since they both are friends. They have favouritism in them very worst managers because of them many employees drop. And cognizant is loosing its name.

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

this company is working like a mini south India and neglect the people from north and avoid giving promotions and keep all controls and power in their hand. upper management treats employees like labourers and exploit them by extending work hours , timsesheet , work from office and no WFH any day. also unnecessary escalations

Need to work more than 11 hrs a day. No allowance for weekend support. there's no cab facility. Less insurance amount. Very very less annual hike (1 % to 5%) There are no dine out programs and team building activities. Always work work work. Sometimes need to work on weekends too. Promotions are very tuff. I've been working since 2016 and joined Cognizant in 2021. I've had the worst experience of my entire Professional career working here. I was in Service Desk Department of TJX Project and the managers (esp. Sourav Singh & Mainak Sarkar) would misbehave with everyone at every instance. Same goes for SMEs (Sonali Menon & Manisha Kar).These guys didn't even had to crack an interview to get the positions all thanks to the Senior Associate Deepak Kumar Singh who turns blind eye at every atrocities employees face there. They will simply positioned to another cycles Job security is poor and termination will become a casual word in the organisation
